BRIDAL FAQ'S
THE PROCESS

What happens at the bridal hair preview appointment?
Hair preview appointments aren’t just a quick 45-minute session- I dedicate a full 2 hours to creating your dream bridal style.

This session is for one hairstyle only. If you’d like to try a second style, we can schedule extra time (additional fee applies).

I’ll provide guidance on hair prep and whether we’ll be needing to add extensions or padding to achieve your dream hair.

It is also a great opportunity for us to discuss your day in further detail - The schedule, prep location and your bridal party styling.

I recommend scheduling your trial 3-4 months before your wedding so we can plan your final look with the best idea of your hair’s length, colour, and texture.
Scheduling your Bridal Trial
I’ll be in touch when it’s time to schedule your trial - I recommend having it around 3- 4 months before your wedding.
This timing is ideal because it gives you the best idea of your hair’s final length, colour, and overall bridal look. Of course, if you prefer to book earlier, just let me know! 💖

THE HAIR

How curls are made to last
If your hair doesn’t typically hold curls well, there are several ways I support longevity so you can still confidently wear your hair down on your wedding day. This comes down to a combination of products, tools and techniques, all chosen specifically for your hair type and desired style.

In some cases, hair extensions can be a great option- not just for length, but for hold. Extensions retain curl far better than fine hair, They help your style look fuller and last longer throughout the day. (Think of them as your style insurance)

And for brides who would like an extra layer of reassurance, I offer an optional touch-up service where I remain with you until you leave for the ceremony to refresh and perfect your hairstyle.
This service is available for an additional fee and can be booked closer to your wedding date.

VEILS & ACCESSORIES

How I secure heavy / long / crystal veils
My cross pin technique is proven to hold veils in place, even on the windiest days.
Bobby pins are woven across the veil comb for extra security.

WEDDING DAY
Why doesn't the brides go last for hair?
As the bride, you won’t be the last one to have your hair done (unless absolutely necessary). There are a few reasons for this:
-
The morning schedule can sometimes run behind.
-
You’ll need to be available for any last-minute questions from vendors or the bridal party.
-
The photographer typically arrives toward the end of prep, which can raise the energy in the room. They will usually need the bride for photos, and it might be hard to relax if you're needed elsewhere.
